This is the first clip on you tube I’ve seen with the all blacks actually playing a game most of them are fucking ads with them in it. Everything in New Zealand revolves around them soon we’ll have fucken toilet paper with their faces on it so we can wipe our asses with Richie. (I’d just like to state I love rugby and the all blacks but the constant ads get to me)

Are you able to get the footage directly from Sky? I am assuming that they are okay with you using the footage, in as much as copyright is concerned. Surely they could provide it to you in a format that you can work with. Otherwise I can only assume that you need better capture equipment. At the very least you could skip the step where you stretch the video, just display it in its native resolution, it would look a lot better.

Hi all. in terms of the video quality, while we shoot everything in HD we actually take the match footage straight off TV and stretch it a little, hence the quality degrade. Unfortunately there is not a lot else we can do due to factors outside our control. If you are a video guru and can suggest a way we can get it in a better format directly from TV please feel free to let us know by replying to this comment. Thanks, the All Blacks digital team.

You’re kidding, right? You do realise that just because the YouTube player is outputting a 720p display to your screen does not mean that it is actually high definition. I could take my iPod (which captures 720p) and point it at my standard definition TV and press record, then upload it to YouTube at a 720p resolution, but that wouldn’t make it HD. The video is only as good as its capture method, and whatever they are doing here is not giving us an HD YouTube video.

come on south africa, you guys have to start throwing the ball around,the word for you guys is ‘ space’ .. you need to create space so your backline which is a pretty good backline can score some try’s did you see habanas try thats what he can do to the all blacks,so give him space and some ball and you guys will challenge the all blacks on the scoreboard not just in the forwards , LETS GO ALL BLACKS
